Frenzee, an all-sibling band splitting their time between Melbourne and Crete, blend punk, metal and rock with a distinctly riot grrrl influence, drawing on Kathleen Hanna's "Girls to the front" ethos to create inclusive, chaotic live shows. Frontwoman Apollonia Xylouris says the band aims to give women space at gigs that has traditionally been denied to them, fostering an environment where crowd surfing and all-girl-encouraged mosh pits sit alongside a message of respect and shared enjoyment.

The band's sound and identity are shaped by their dual Greek-Australian heritage, with brothers Nikos (drums) and Adonis (guitar) having first learned their craft playing marathon eight-hour sets in a traditional Greek folk band before moving into heavier territory influenced by Motörhead's Lemmy, Bikini Kill and The Prodigy's Keith Flint. They describe their lifestyle and music as fuelled by "red wine, darts and very high acid reflux", combining Australian pub-rock looseness with the political intensity and emotional fire of their Greek upbringing.
