A 24-year-old woman has been charged with theft and driving under the influence after stealing an ambulance parked outside an Avenged Sevenfold and Good Charlotte concert in Phoenix, Arizona, before crashing it into another car. The incident, which occurred outside the Talking Sticks Amphitheatre and Resort late on 27 August, prompted a police response and left the driver of the other vehicle hospitalised, though without life-threatening injuries.

The woman, named Grace Vicente, is said to have got into the ambulance after paramedics had left the keys inside while responding to a call at the venue, then drove it a short distance before the collision. Her lawyer told local media the episode was "completely out of her normal nature," adding that she had travelled to Arizona specifically for the gig. The show formed part of Avenged Sevenfold and Good Charlotte's co-headline US tour, which ran from late July to 30 August, with both bands set to continue touring internationally and having each released new music in the past year.
