A 19-year-old Miami waitress, Nathalie Rodriguez Gonzalez, has been arrested on charges of extortion and threats after allegedly demanding money from a man she had been dating once she discovered he had a girlfriend throughout their relationship. According to the Miami-Dade Sheriff's Office, she threatened to send intimate photographs of him to his girlfriend and business partner, and to post them on social media, unless he paid her.

Deputies say she initially demanded $20,000, threatening to add a further $5,000 if he refused, along with threats referencing his immigration status. When the man did not pay, she allegedly sent one of the images to his business partner and then to his girlfriend, and posted a censored version on TikTok. She was arrested on charges of threats and extortion and reportedly gave a full confession to investigators.
