A suspected thief was filmed brazenly stealing an influencer's suitcase from outside London St Pancras station in broad daylight on Sunday morning, in an incident that highlights a wider pattern of luggage thefts targeting travellers at the station. Colleen Bankston, an influencer and personal trainer, had turned away briefly while loading bags into a taxi boot when a man in headphones and a baseball cap checked his surroundings, grabbed her suitcase, and walked off clutching it to his chest before disappearing into the station. Ms Bankston shared the footage online, urging people to identify the man before he targets someone else, and British Transport Police confirmed they are investigating.

The clip, filmed by a passer-by who said he recognised the suspect, shows the man dressed smartly in a white polo shirt, blue suit trousers, a black rucksack and glasses; commenters claimed similar thefts have happened to other travellers at the same station. Police are asking anyone with information to contact them via text, quoting a reference number. The incident follows other recent thefts at St Pancras, including a distraction theft in April that saw a migrant jailed for 22 months after stealing jewellery worth up to £175,000, and the theft of a musician's rare oboe in June using a similar diversion tactic.
