Deadline · 4 hours ago

Apple TV's upcoming comedy series "Protective Custody" has added Samson Kayo and Sonny Valicenti as series regulars, joining a cast already led by Ben Stiller, Benicio Del Toro and Amy Sedaris. The show, created by Mike Judge alongside Steve Hely and Dave King, marks a reunion for Stiller and Judge and follows a disgraced financier who is placed in protective custody after being accused of massive fraud, forcing him to navigate prison politics while awaiting trial.

Kayo, a two-time BAFTA-nominated British actor known for F1, House of the Dragon and Our Flag Means Death, and Valicenti, recognised for Mindhunter and Super Pumped, will play characters whose details remain undisclosed. Judge will direct the series, with Hely and King also serving as co-writers and co-showrunners, and executive producers include Ben Silverman's Propagate Content alongside teams representing Stiller, Del Toro and other backers.
