The video captures her tearful farewell to her home town of Jupiter, Florida, an early-morning team meeting, and a bout of strep throat that forced her to return home during her first week of term, offering a personal look at the pressures facing student athletes settling into college life.

In the vlog, Kai admitted to "literally sobbing" before leaving home and said she had not eaten "in like three days" amid the stress of the move, until her best friend Emma brought her groceries. She also described a 7am team meeting on her first Monday and showcased new Miami-branded golf gear, before falling ill with strep throat that Wednesday and travelling back to Jupiter to be cared for by her mother, Vanessa Trump. Kai is the eldest daughter of Donald Trump Jr and Vanessa Trump, whose family has also featured in recent news linked to golfer Tiger Woods' court appearance in a DUI case.
