The San Francisco 49ers have flown to Australia ahead of the first-ever NFL regular-season game held on the continent, a milestone fixture against divisional rivals the Los Angeles Rams. Reports confirm that tight end George Kittle and defensive end Nick Bosa, two key players for head coach Kyle Shanahan, made the trip despite both recovering from serious injuries, offering an encouraging sign for their availability given a camp already hit hard by injuries elsewhere in the squad.

Kittle tore his Achilles in January's Wild Card loss to the Eagles, while Bosa suffered a torn ACL in Week 3 last season and has also been managing tendinitis through training camp.
