See-Saw Films, the British production company behind "Slow Horses" and the upcoming Apple film "Tenzing," has appointed Ben Irving as managing director, working alongside existing joint managing director Simon Gillis with a focus on scripted television. He replaces Helen Gregory, who is departing after five years at the Mediawan-owned company, during which she helped shape its television output and drove the success of hit series across the slate.

Irving joins from Fifth Season, where he is creative director of international scripted and previously led the UK Development and Production division, leaving as the company begins productions for Netflix, MGM+ and a Stephen King adaptation for Prime Video. He earlier served as acting director of drama at the BBC, overseeing primetime output and executive producing shows including "His Dark Materials," "Sherwood," "Industry" and "Happy Valley." Gregory, who joined See-Saw in 2021, played a key role in the success of "Slow Horses," "Sweetpea," "Apple Cider Vinegar" and "Heartstopper," and helped secure the rights to "The Neverending Story" as well as See-Saw's tie-up with Mediawan.
