Harlan Coben Officially Returns to CBS With a Twist
Harlan Coben's true-crime series "Final Twist" has been renewed for a second season on CBS, following a strong run of 2026 hits for the author across Netflix and CBS. The show, in which Coben narrates real-life criminal cases, earned a rare renewal after its first season, adding to a breakout year that has already included the Netflix series "Run Away" and "I Will Find You".
CBS has released the first official image from "Final Twist" Season 2 and confirmed it will premiere on 5 October 2026, with the opening episode covering a suspected suicide, a wrongful conviction and an unresolved murder mystery. Coben has no further shows scheduled for release this year, with his next major project, an adaptation of his Myron Bolitar novels, expected in 2027; Season 1 of "Final Twist" is available to watch on Paramount+.
