Billboard has compiled a roundup of eight new and forthcoming country music books being released this autumn, reflecting the genre's recent surge in popularity driven by hit songs and TV shows such as Yellowstone and Landman. The selection spans memoirs from genre veterans, biographical works on major stars, and historical accounts, offering fans deeper insight into the artists and industry figures shaping country music.

Highlights include Willie Nelson's "The LAST LEAF: Reflections on Late-Life Creativity–and My Longest Love Affair" (out 10 November), which centres on his relationship with his wife Annie; Lauren Jo Black's "Country Music Forever", an A-to-Z guide with over 100 entries, released in the US and Canada on 15 September; and Emily Yahr's "Taylor Swift: The Debut Years" (6 October), examining Swift's early rise in Nashville. Also featured is Cleve Francis's memoir, released 6 October in partnership with the Country Music Hall of Fame, detailing his career as a Black country artist and cardiologist in the 1990s, alongside a new memoir from Clint Black.
