Read the glam Aussie Pilates trainer’s brutal leaked texts about her own clients: ‘Fat a**es’

A Perth Pilates studio, Freemove Pilates, has come under fire after leaked messages showed its owner describing her own clients as "overweight" mums with "fat a**es". The row began when the studio, which has branches in Kinross, Carine and Jolimont, rejected a collaboration request from local Instagram page Hey Perth Mama, dismissing influencers as "modern day panhandlers", prompting a public backlash and a critical Google review from a follower named Traci. Owner Tahlia Jeffery then sent Traci a message containing the disputed comments, sparking widespread accusations of body shaming online.

The situation escalated further when an account believed to be linked to Jeffery commented on Traci's TikTok videos, branding her a "plus size influencer". Jeffery's husband and business co-owner, James, later addressed the controversy on the studio's Instagram, saying his wife's language was "crude and poorly expressed" but insisting it was not intended as body shaming and that the pair would not apologise, while telling the Daily Mail directly that the comments had crossed a line.
