Aqara has unveiled a broad new range of smart lighting products at IFA 2026, following on from its recent CES announcements. The lineup, which spans indoor and outdoor lighting, works with both Zigbee and Thread and is compatible with Matter-enabled platforms including Apple Home, Google Home, Alexa, SmartThings, Home Assistant and Homey, positioning Aqara as a broader player in the increasingly interoperable smart home market.

Highlights include the Floor Lamp T1, a 4.6-foot LED pole with RGBIC lighting across 18 individually addressable zones that casts colour onto surrounding walls, similar to a Govee floor lamp. Outdoors, Aqara is introducing permanent addressable-LED lighting and customisable RGBIC string lights for both festive displays and ambient white lighting. It is also refreshing its LED light strip, retaining the same 16-million-colour range but adding a new chip enabling 18 independent zones per 3-metre section, alongside a second-generation downlight available in 4-inch and 6-inch sizes with RGB-CCT or RGB-only options. Pricing and availability have not yet been announced.
