Slovakian singer Adéla Jergová, who rose to prominence after being eliminated from the "Dream Academy" reality show that produced Katseye, has released her debut album "Prima" following a summer of festival performances at Lollapalooza and Reading. Where her 2025 EP "The Provocateur" leaned hard-edged, "Prima" balances that toughness with softer, more melodic pop hooks, marking a maturation in both sound and songwriting that critics see as evidence she was always destined for a solo career.

The 22-year-old worked with an accomplished production team, including 100 Gecs' Dylan Brady and hitmaker Blake Slatkin, alongside songwriters Julia Michaels and Billy Walsh.
