James Wolk Joins ABC’s ‘Grey’s Anatomy’ For Season 23, Added To AMC’s ‘Thunder Road’
James Wolk has been cast in recurring roles on two major US television projects: ABC's long-running medical drama *Grey's Anatomy* and AMC's new NASCAR-themed series *Thunder Road*. The casting comes as *Grey's Anatomy* enters its 23rd season following the departures of longtime characters Teddy and Owen, with Wolk's new character potentially filling part of the gap they left behind.
On *Grey's Anatomy*, Wolk will play Seth Norton, an arrogant surgeon-turned-businessman who runs a private, pay-for-care luxury medical centre, appearing in at least four episodes when the season premieres on 15 October. On *Thunder Road*, a multi-generational drama about a fictional stock car racing family led by Dennis Quaid, Wolk will portray Jordan Brandt, son-in-law to the family patriarch and legal counsel to the racing team, appearing in six of the first season's eight episodes. Wolk's other credits include *Mad Men*, *Watchmen* and *The Shards*, and he is also set to appear in Prime Video's *Vought Rising*.
