ADÉLA to Embark on North American Tour, Unveils Debut Album PRIMA: Stream
Slovak pop artist ADÉLA has released her debut album PRIMA, produced by Blake Slatkin and Dylan Brady, ahead of her first-ever headlining tour of North America. The album draws on her European upbringing and her rise in pop music, with its title referencing both her debut status and the term used for celebrated ballerinas, a metaphor she extends across tracks charting her journey from learning English in Bratislava to appearing on the 2023 reality show Dream Academy.
The accompanying "Red Bottoms Tour" runs from 9 September in Detroit through to a pair of Mexico City dates on 15 and 16 October, taking in cities including Toronto, Boston, Washington D.C., Nashville, Austin, San Francisco, Seattle and Los Angeles. ADÉLA has also released a music video for the PRIMA track "Nicole Kidman", inspired by an encounter at a Golden Globes event that left her feeling like the actress, and has made the album available on streaming and vinyl.
