Andy Williams, founding guitarist of the metalcore band Every Time I Die and a professional wrestler known as "The Butcher," has died at the age of 48. He collapsed shortly after competing in a tag-team wrestling match in Pennsylvania on Saturday, and was pronounced dead at a local hospital despite being given CPR at the venue.

Williams collapsed immediately after a bout at an Enjoy Wrestling event in Millvale, alongside partner Jesse "The Blade" Guilmette, with whom he had wrestled as "The Butcher and The Blade" on the All Elite Wrestling roster for seven years before their contract ended in June. His death was confirmed by the Allegheny County Medical Examiner's Office. Williams was a member of Every Time I Die from its 1998 formation until the band's 2022 split, featuring on all nine studio albums, and had more recently formed a new band, Atomic Rule.
