Meta and Best Buy are expanding their in-store partnership, with plans to open 50 "Meta Lab @ Best Buy" locations across the US by the end of 2026. The venture, which launched with its first store in June 2026, lets shoppers get hands-on demonstrations and personalised fittings of Meta's AI glasses and virtual reality headsets, making the technology more accessible before purchase.

Each location will be staffed by Meta specialists offering guided demos and purchasing advice, and will stock the full Meta product range, including Ray-Ban Meta, Oakley Meta, Meta Ray-Ban Display glasses and Meta Quest VR headsets. Stores feature a dedicated style wall for trying on frames, expert guidance on pairing Meta Ray-Ban Display glasses with the gesture-controlled Meta Neural Band, and immersive demos of the Meta Quest 3 and Quest 3S headsets for gaming, films and fitness workouts.
