Apple Watch Series 12 and Ultra 4 preorders begin for September launch
Apple has unveiled the Apple Watch Series 12 and Ultra 4, alongside its new iPhone lineup, with preorders now open ahead of a launch on 18 September. Notably, there is no updated Apple Watch SE for this cycle and no price increases on either new model, in contrast to the iPhone range. Both watches retain familiar designs but include internal upgrades, such as Audio Intelligence features enabled by the new S11 chip, plus improved sensors and tracking.
The Series 12 starts at $399 for the 42mm case, rising by $50 for the 46mm version, and is available through Amazon, Best Buy and Apple directly. A ceramic case option has also returned for the first time since the Series 5, priced from $899. The Apple Watch Ultra 4 starts at $799, comes in a single size with GPS and 5G connectivity, and is sold via Amazon and Best Buy. Both models are set to launch alongside the iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max.
