David Lee Roth and Alex Van Halen made their first public appearance together since Van Halen's final concert in 2015, reuniting for a TEDxFargo talk recorded on 30 July. The event marks a notable moment for fans, coming more than a decade after the band's last show and six years after the death of guitarist Eddie Van Halen, and offers a rare glimpse of the two surviving figures discussing the band's legacy together.

The 15-minute conversation, titled "Beyond Boundaries: How Human Experience Informs Art And Music", took place at Brewhalla in Fargo, North Dakota, and was moderated by Los Angeles artist Robert Vargas, who painted a mural of Eddie Van Halen in 2021.
