British and Welsh talent featured prominently, with Carey Mulligan nominated for Beef and Matthew Rhys receiving two nominations for The Beast In Me and Widow's Bay. Michael J Fox is set to receive the TV Academy's Bob Hope Humanitarian Award, while Scottish stars Richard Gadd and Alan Cumming also featured, the latter having won an award at last weekend's Creative Arts Emmys.
