Kia has unveiled the PV7, its second all-electric van under the Platform Beyond Vehicle (PBV) range, at the IAA Transportation show in Germany. The launch builds on the PV5 "people mover" that went on sale in 2025, and underlines Kia's position as one of a small number of automakers offering dedicated electric vans, at a time when minivan sales in the US are rebounding after years of decline.

The PV7 is around two feet longer than the PV5 and will be offered in passenger and cargo variants, built on Kia's flat-floor PBV architecture. It comes with a choice of 71.5kWh or 96.2kWh battery packs, with the long-range cargo version claiming up to 460km (286 miles) under the WLTP test cycle. An 800-volt system allows 10–80% charging in under 25 minutes on a 350kW fast charger, while the van also supports vehicle-to-load power outlets and runs Kia's Android Automotive-based Pleos Connect infotainment with Gleo AI voice controls. No date or pricing has yet been confirmed for a US launch.
