Sherman Kemp, a 47-year-old convicted drug trafficker known for appearing in the 2004 DVD "Stop Snitching", has vanished while being transferred between federal prisons in the United States, prompting an active manhunt. The Federal Bureau of Prisons listed Kemp as having "escaped" on 11 September 2026 after he failed to report to Federal Correctional Institution Jesup in Georgia following a transfer from FCI Miami, and the case has raised questions about how he came to travel unsupervised.

Kemp, nicknamed "Goose", was sentenced to 27 years in 2010 for cocaine and heroin trafficking offences as well as firearms charges. He was last seen at a Greyhound bus station at Miami International Airport wearing a grey sweater and hat, and the US Marshals Service is offering a reward of up to $9,999 for information leading to his capture, warning that he has "violent tendencies". The Bureau of Prisons described the incident as a "failure to report" following a "furlough transfer" but has not explained why Kemp was travelling without an escort or what happened after he left Miami, and an internal investigation is now under way.
