A man in his 30s has been arrested on suspicion of rape after a teenage girl was allegedly attacked under a bridge near Norwich City's Carrow Road stadium in broad daylight. The incident has prompted a police response and investigation, highlighting concerns about safety in a public area close to a major sporting venue.

Norfolk Police were called to the Novi Sad bridge at around 12.40pm on Tuesday. A tent was erected at the scene and the area cordoned off while officers investigated, though both have since been removed. The suspect has been taken to Wymondham Police Investigation Centre for questioning, and Norfolk Constabulary has been approached for further comment.
