Vincent Saxon, 54, has pleaded guilty to attempting to rape a woman travelling alone on a Bakerloo line train in south London. The attack occurred late at night between Waterloo and Lambeth North in July, and the woman escaped after fighting back, highlighting the importance of passenger and staff responses in securing police assistance.

Saxon exposed himself, forcibly pulled the woman to the floor and attempted to rape her before she escaped at Lambeth North and alerted station staff.
