Warrant Officer Emma Colton, the British Army's first female Master Tailor, was acquitted at Bulford Military Court in Wiltshire after being accused of repeatedly pinching a subordinate's bottom and engaging in inappropriate conduct whilst deployed to the Falkland Islands. The case involved allegations that she had followed the male sergeant, touched him without consent during gym sessions, and bought him gifts including chocolates and a scented candle that he considered inappropriate.

The sergeant claimed the incidents occurred in November 2024, with one occasion involving significant force that required him to adjust his clothing afterwards. He stated he felt "violated" by her conduct but did not wish to damage her career. WO Colton denied the allegations, maintaining she was in a ten-year relationship and that any physical contact had been innocent, whilst explaining the gifts were purchased for his forgotten birthday.
