Robinhood’s Abhishek Fatehpuria on winning the modern financial consumer at TechCrunch Disrupt 2026
Robinhood executive Abhishek Fatehpuria will speak at TechCrunch Disrupt 2026 about how fintech is evolving to meet consumers’ expectations for seamless, intuitive and trusted financial products. His session will examine Robinhood’s expansion from a commission-free trading app into a broader platform covering investing, banking, credit, crypto, retirement, prediction markets and AI-powered tools.
Robinhood reported 28.6 million funded customers and $384 billion in platform assets at the end of August 2026. Its banking service held more than $3 billion in deposits, its credit-card business exceeded $100 million in annualised revenue, and customers had traded over 3.5 billion prediction-market contracts; in August alone, 4.7 billion event contracts were traded, 15 times the previous year’s figure. Nearly 100,000 customers had also opened AI-powered Agentic Trading accounts, showing the company’s push towards automated and increasingly integrated financial services.
