Conservative leader Kemi Badenoch has publicly backed King Charles in a dispute with Earl Charles Spencer over allegations in Spencer’s memoir about Princess Diana. Spencer claims Charles said Diana would soon be forgotten after her death, prompting Buckingham Palace to issue an unusually forceful response questioning the reliability of the recollection.
