Patrick Wolf is staging a one-off orchestral performance to commemorate 20 years since the release of his landmark third album, 'The Magic Position'. The concert will take place on 26 February 2027 at London's O2 Shepherd's Bush Empire – exactly 20 years to the day after the original album release and at the same venue where it received its grand finale in 2007. Wolf describes the show as a chance for artistic redemption and a way to celebrate an album that "completely changed the course of my life", featuring the album performed in its entirety with a chamber orchestra and full band.

The venue will be configured with both seated balcony sections and dancing floor space. Tickets go on general sale on 25 September at 9am BST, with Patreon members able to access a pre-sale from 23 September at 9am BST. Wolf notes that with no ability to secure a remaster, vinyl release or master recording rights, this live performance offers the album a singular celebratory moment, delivered with what he expects will be greater artistic mastery than he possessed two decades ago.
