Carl Palmer, the 76-year-old drummer known for Emerson, Lake & Palmer, Asia and Atomic Rooster, has spoken about his fear of dying while touring. Despite continuing to enjoy performing, he said he would prefer not to die in a cheap hotel and joked that, if it happened, he would rather it be somewhere like a Hilton or Four Seasons.

Palmer said his wife may join him on tour more often because of concerns about his health and the unpredictability of ageing. He also revealed that he already knows where he wants to be buried: in a nature reserve rather than a traditional graveyard.
