Cole Sprouse stars in Wake, a dark comedy about four semi-estranged siblings reunited at their father’s wake after his death by suicide. Their attempts to grieve are complicated by feuding relatives, oblivious guests and an uneasy funeral director, creating a chaotic story about family and mourning.

The film is directed and co-written by Devon Michaels, making his feature directorial debut, alongside Kelly O’Malley, who drew on her own experience of losing her father to suicide. Wake will premiere at the Heartland International Film Festival in Indianapolis in October, followed later that month by a West Coast premiere at the Newport Beach Film Festival.
