Beau Lamarre-Condon claims he took female friend’s ‘Taylor Swift’ advice on dealing with Jesse Baird and Luke Davies’ bodies
Beau Lamarre-Condon has pleaded not guilty to murdering Jesse Baird and Luke Davies in Sydney in February 2024. Prosecutors allege he fabricated a claim that a female friend advised him to hide the bodies, invoking Taylor Swift’s song “No Body, No Crime”, while the defence says the deaths followed an accidental shooting and acts of self-defence.
The Crown alleges Lamarre-Condon shot both men before attempting to conceal their bodies near Bungonia, New South Wales. His lawyer says he entered Baird’s home to retrieve jewellery, was involved in a struggle over his gun, and panicked afterwards; Lamarre-Condon also denies a separate alleged break-in at Baird’s house in 2023.
