Hermanos Gutiérrez’s *Los Ojos Del Cóndor* is presented as an immersive tribute to South America, particularly the Andes and the Indigenous significance of the condor as a link between the earthly and spiritual worlds. The review finds the Swiss-Ecuadorian brothers’ blend of Latin music, surf and western guitar styles evocative and emotionally resonant, capturing both the exhilaration of flight and the fragility of the natural world.

Produced by Dan Auerbach, the album moves between dramatic, atmospheric pieces such as ‘Canto Andino’ and the title track, and more grounded journeys including ‘Ciudad Inca’, which features charango guitar and session musicians. ‘La Danza Del Viento’ and ‘Tren Macho’ provide contrasting interpretations of movement and travel, while closing track ‘Dios de la Paz’ reinforces the record’s reflective, contemplative mood.
