Stray Kids are due to meet Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum and South Korean President Lee Jae Myung at Mexico’s National Palace during Lee’s official visit. The meeting will cover trade, investment and the growing influence of South Korean cultural content in Mexico, highlighting K-pop’s role in bringing Mexican and South Korean young people closer together.

Sheinbaum also confirmed that 10 children from low-income families will receive tickets to Stray Kids’ Mexico City concert on 25 September. The group, whose members are aged 25 to 28, follows BTS in meeting Mexico’s president; around 50,000 fans reportedly gathered for BTS’ appearance in May, amid controversy over ticket sales and calls for greater transparency. HYBE is also expanding its Latin American operations from Mexico.
