Variety Power of Women: Industry Leaders Mingle With Stars to Celebrate Female Empowerment and Philanthropy
Variety’s Power of Women event brought together prominent entertainment executives, performers and creators at the Beverly Hills Hotel on 23 September. The event celebrated female leadership and philanthropy, highlighting the influence of women across Hollywood and recognising their contributions both within the industry and beyond.
Jennifer Hudson, Pearlena Igbokwe, Melissa McCarthy and Sharon Stone received honours, while comedian Iliza Shlesinger hosted the evening. Attendees included senior figures from Warner Bros., Disney, Amazon, Netflix, Paramount, Sony Pictures, Meta and the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, alongside stars such as Paige DeSorbo, Stassi Schroeder, Karen Pittman and Paula Patton. The event also recognised several dozen women featured in Variety’s annual Women’s Impact Report.
