Florida man, 76, with suspended license allegedly admits to driving under the influence of rum, cocaine
A 76-year-old Florida man was arrested after deputies allegedly saw him swerving and stopped him while driving with a suspended licence. Authorities said he admitted drinking rum, later disclosed recent cocaine use, and had been arrested for suspected drink-driving four months earlier.
Deputies reportedly found cocaine and drug paraphernalia in his vehicle, while breath tests recorded readings of 0.094 and 0.095, above Florida’s 0.08 legal limit. Charles Ducking faces charges including fourth or subsequent DUI, cocaine possession and driving with a suspended licence; officials said he had multiple previous arrests, including for DUI.
