He described the area’s growing Muslim population and expansion of mosques as disruptive, while saying some long-term residents supported his concerns.

Tye said tensions began after a mosque opened about six years ago and prayers during Eid unexpectedly used amplified speakers, waking nearby residents. He identified five mosques built or under construction within seven miles of his home, while neighbours cited the opening of Muslim-owned restaurants and broader demographic change; Warren’s authorities condemned doxxing and called for residents to reject hatred.
