Zoe Saldaña has said she does not expect to star in another Taylor Sheridan television series, explaining that leading Paramount+ drama “Lioness” is already a major commitment. Although she values working with Sheridan and is pleased he sees her as reliable, she said the demands of being the show’s lead leave little capacity for another project in his television universe.

Saldaña said she is first on set, last to leave and prepares for months before filming begins. She has starred as Joe McNamara for three seasons of “Lioness”, which she also executive produces alongside Nicole Kidman; the third season centres on covert networks, foreign operatives, betrayals and Joe’s struggle to balance duty with her personal life.
