Kneecap and Tom Morello have released “Unconquered”, a collaboration on Morello’s new solo album, *Everyone Gets Everything They Want*. The track combines his distorted guitar sound with electronic percussion and fast verses in Irish and English, drawing on the hip-hop and hard-rock mix associated with Rage Against the Machine. Morello says the song is about maintaining resistance in the face of repression and state violence.

Morello described Kneecap as kindred spirits because of their support for oppressed people, and said he asked them to make the song “devastating” and powerful enough to rock a festival. The album, released on 25 September, is his first solo rock record and 22nd album overall; it also features Serj Tankian, Beartooth and riffs from his 15-year-old son Roman. Kneecap released their second album, *Fenian*, in May and are due to begin a UK and Ireland tour in Southampton on 28 November, ending in Dublin on 16 December.
