Tina Descovich, co-founder of the parental rights organisation Moms for Liberty, has criticised Ms. Rachel (Rachel Griffin Accurso), a popular children's content creator with over 21 million YouTube followers, for using her platform for political activism rather than purely educational content. Descovich contends that parents trust Ms. Rachel's programming for early learning and speech development in young children, but are being exposed to political messaging on Gaza, immigration and LGBTQ+ rights without their prior expectation.

Ms. Rachel has been nominated as a finalist for StopAntisemitism's 2025 "Antisemite of the Year" following her posts about Gaza, though other Jewish organisations have defended her advocacy for Palestinian children. She has also visited immigration detention facilities and shared posts about gender identity and race aimed at very young audiences. Descovich has called for warning labels on Ms. Rachel's content, arguing that whilst parents seek foundational literacy education, Ms. Rachel is incorporating political messaging into content for toddlers aged two to four. Ms. Rachel has defended her activism by drawing parallels to Mister Rogers' political engagement in children's television.
