A 42-year-old mother from Kenya has been accused of stabbing her three children in the Blue Mountains, Australia, on 20 September while they were in their car seats. Two of her children died from their injuries—a five-year-old boy at the scene and a one-year-old girl four days later—whilst the mother remains hospitalised under police guard. She has been formally charged with murder and two counts of attempted murder, with police investigating whether a parental argument may have triggered the attack.
