Betsy Slenzak, formerly an unscripted executive at The CW and NBCUniversal, has been appointed SVP of Original Content at View TV Studios. She will lead the studio’s commissioning and production as it expands its direct-to-audience business, which distributes episodic programmes through FAST channels and other connected TV platforms.

Reporting to founder Simon Knight, Slenzak will oversee development, commissioning and production of a slate planned to reach around 250 hours a year, as well as library acquisitions. The programmes are expected to appear on View TV’s own platforms and through third-party distributors; Slenzak left The CW in 2024 after layoffs, having joined in 2023.
