‘Big Brother’ Ratings Average 5.1 Million Multiplatform Viewers This Summer, Up 8% From Last Year (EXCLUSIVE)
‘Big Brother’ averaged 5.1 million multiplatform viewers in live-plus-seven-day ratings this summer, an 8% rise on last year. CBS said the audience was 46% larger than that of ‘Love Island USA’, while the figures point to continued growth for the long-running reality show across broadcast and streaming.
The series and its live feeds generated 14.8 billion viewing minutes, up 9% year on year, and it had its strongest summer of full-episode streaming on Paramount+. Across ‘Big Brother’ and ‘Big Brother: Unlocked’, the franchise produced more than 52 hours of programming and recorded over 25 million social interactions. Its live 90-minute finale is scheduled for 1 October, with Rick Devens, Drew Campbell and Taylor Brown competing for the $750,000 prize.
