The Nations League is a competition for Europe’s national football teams, organised by UEFA. Teams play in groups, with results deciding who advances to the knockout stages and who moves between divisions in later editions.

Spain are one of Europe’s leading national teams, while Czechia compete in the same group. Lamine Yamal is a young Spain forward; Rodri Hernández and Mikel Merino are also members of the squad. The group standings matter because teams need enough points to reach the quarter-finals.
