The result represents Leigh's eighth win in their last ten matches and strengthens their bid for a top-six position whilst significantly denting Warrington's championship aspirations.

Warrington were substantially handicapped by injuries to ten players, including captain George Williams, and were unable to mount an effective challenge at Hill Dickinson Stadium.
