Kevin Herring Steps Down as Co-President at Triple Tigers Records
Kevin Herring is departing his co-president position at Triple Tigers Records, a Nashville-based label founded in 2016 through partnership between Sony Music Entertainment's The Orchard and Triple 8 Management. Rather than leaving entirely, he will remain involved in an advisory capacity, concentrating on artist and repertoire decisions alongside broader strategic planning. The label currently manages several established country artists and has accumulated 33 RIAA certifications throughout its tenure.
Herring brings over four decades of experience in the music industry, having begun his career in radio during the 1980s before progressing through leadership positions at major labels including Mercury, Warner Music Nashville, and Disney's Lyric Street. His transition marks the initial phase of his movement away from full-time executive work, permitting him to restructure his schedule around personal priorities whilst remaining available to mentor staff and support artist careers. Founding partner George Couri attributed the label's consistent success in achieving country radio chart dominance to the organisational foundation Herring established during his tenure.
