Prime Video's "Elle" prequel to "Legally Blonde" has launched with Jacob Moskovitz joining as Miles, a supporting character who serves as one of the first people to befriend Elle Woods in her new setting. The series reimagines the original film's fish-out-of-water premise by transplanting Elle from Beverly Hills to Seattle, where she must earn acceptance in a vastly different social environment.

Moskovitz described the production process as unusually advantageous, noting the cast had already completed a second season before the series premiered, allowing them to develop their characters with full knowledge of where their arcs were heading. He credited the creative guidance of Reese Witherspoon, the original film's star and current producer, along with advice from the original cast at the film's 25th anniversary event, as essential in helping the new ensemble understand that Elle Woods should remain the central driving force of the story.
