Nothing has launched the Ear (3a), positioning the new earbuds as an affordable option between its entry-level and flagship models, priced at $99. A standout feature is Audio Snapshot, which records brief audio clips directly on the buds using 32MB of built-in storage—capturing moments from lectures or voice messages that sync to Nothing's app for listening, editing, and transcribing.

The buds are equipped with a 12mm dynamic driver supporting LDAC high-resolution audio and an 8-band equalizer, alongside spatial audio for enhanced immersion. Noise cancellation reaches 45 decibels with improvements the company claims are 17.1 percent more effective than previous models. Battery performance totals 42 hours with the case (10 hours on the buds alone without ANC, 25 with it enabled), and the earbuds debut in four color variants including new pink and yellow options.
