London show added to Jay-Z’s 30-date anniversary concert tour
Jay-Z has added a London concert to his "Jay-Z 30" series, a run of shows marking three decades since the start of his recording career. The rapper will perform at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on 4 September, in what will be his only UK appearance of the year. The addition gives British fans a chance to see the anniversary celebration without travelling abroad.
The London date joins previously announced concerts in Paris on 10 September and Los Angeles on 23 October. This week Jay-Z is playing back-to-back shows at New York's Yankee Stadium on 10 and 11 July, marking the 30th anniversary of "Reasonable Doubt" and the 25th anniversary of "The Blueprint" respectively; he also appeared at the Roots Picnic in Philadelphia on 30 May, backed by the Roots. Tickets for the London show began with a presale on 9 July at 10am local time, with general on-sale following on 10 July at 10am local time.
