CAA expands UK creator division with hire of Georgia Katz
Talent agency CAA has hired Georgia Katz to strengthen its UK-based creators division, which represents digital-first talent. Katz, who joins from talent management firm Mokkingbird and previously worked at Insanity Management and Gleam Futures, will be based in London and will help digital content makers build sustainable, multi-platform businesses across entertainment, media and brand partnerships. The move is the latest step in CAA's push to expand its presence in the British creator market.
Over her career Katz has worked with creators including Olivia Neill, Flossie Clegg, Sam Thompson, Cardiff Mum and Tallulah Metcalfe, and is known for helping talent move into podcasting, consumer products, live experiences and business ventures. CAA has been building its UK creators division since at least December last year, with senior agent Brent Weinstein taking meetings in Britain and UK agent Glenn Miller leading the effort. Recent signings to the unit include William Hanson, Fin Taylor, Max Klymenko, Fallow Chefs, Jordan North, Vick Hope, Polyester and Sam Thompson, who signed last month and has previously worked with Katz.
