Shoegaze project November Girl has unveiled a new single titled 'Earthly Form,' marking the artist's first release as a solo performer after stepping away from permanent band collaboration. The track adopts a 1990s alternative-rock sensibility, evoking the brooding atmosphere of grunge-era touchstones.

Willa Rudolph, the project's creator, conceived the song around the concept of fandom parasocial relationships with deceased musicians. She drew inspiration from her own admiration for artists including Elliott Smith, Amy Winehouse, and Jeff Buckley, reflecting on how their recorded legacies and visual imagery continue to influence living musicians despite their deaths. The release features accompanying visual direction by Layla Blue Rudolph.
